Praise The lord Saints:

During this time of ‘MY BIRTHDAY BEFORE AND AFTER THE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION”  a lot of things have taken place. Let me take a few minutes and share with you:

To sIn is to disregard God, ignore his teachings, deny his blessings. Sin is God-less living centering life on the middle letter of the word in sin. The I. The sinners life is me focused not God Focused. All of us have been guilty of living this me focused life at one time or another. However through the mercy and grace of God we have become renewed. ShPone has a business called Nu-Again. As I was spending time with the Lord he let me know during our first birth we were new. Even though what we were born in was a sin  infested world our coming into it at our beginning was new. Then we grew up in sin and began to enjoy the pleasure there-in.  So through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we all have a chance to be new again. ShPone cannot claim to make something new again if it had not at one point been new. The way the Lord gave me this was based on our first birth and how fearless we were until things begin to happen and we learned that touching fire burns, climbing up on things not intended for climbing can result in a fall. Saying words that Mom and dad deemed disrespectful can lead to one getting their mouth washed out with soap (or worse). Everything that we have learned has instituted a couple of things . Fear or Faith. Most often because of our experiences our fears outweigh our faith by leaps and bounds. Because of the experiences I have had over the years they have allowed me to forget the faith that God delivered to me when he told me to leave Colorado for Oklahoma.

Its just like the enemy to flood our minds with all the things that have gone wrong in our lives and never look at one thing that may have went right. In closing I read a book about a man named Noble Doss. In 1941 he dropped the football that caused him he said the national championship. The team was ranked number 1 in the nation and he dropped the ball. Doss wrote that he thought about that one play everyday. It didn’t matter that he was happily married for more than  sixty years or that he was a father grandfather served in the Navy during world war 11. He was on the cover of a magazine along with his teammates. He intercepted seventeen passes during his college career won two NFL titles was in the hall of fame and hall of  honors. None of these accomplishments mattered because one time he missed the ball. Most historians notes all of what he accomplished but he remembered the ball he missed. Most often the enemy doesn’t want us to see any of our accomplishments only our failures. And if that is not good enough he then wants us to compare our failures with others so that we will somehow look better to ourselves. But saints it is not God’s will for us to compare ourselves good or bad to others but to seek for that New again birth that allows us to be equal to our savior. And to do this we have to believe “when Jesus looks at us he sees not what we used to be but he sees Jesus.  During this time of celebration I seek God for deliverance from everything that would cloud his ability to be able to see Jesus when he looks at me. Won’t you join me. Take this time to join in the celebration of the new birth given to all of us as Christians through Christ. You may not want to celebrate my birthday but celebrate your own birthday. The day that Christ came into your life to let you know you had a right to everlasting life. I am walking in a  double celebration my natural birthday and a new birth in Christ all at the same time. I have been busy opening presents and it has been somewhat overwhelming. Thoughtful people have called sent gifts etc but the greatest gift of them all has been Jesus and the refreshing he has given me which has helped to vanish defeats and celebrate accomplishments. So I bask in his glory as I end this message. I hope you glean from it and allow him to make you New again so that you can see through the eyes of victory and not the eye of defeat.
